1 Who We Are

2 Data We Collect
Nailogy collects only the data necessary to deliver its AI-powered features:
- Account Information: We use anonymous sign-in to manage your features. We do not collect or store your email address, or password.
- Photos & Images: Images you voluntarily upload for AI analysis (nail photos, outfit photos). Images are processed and then deleted within 24 hours unless you explicitly save them.
- Usage Data: Feature usage, generation counts, session timestamps, and in-app actions to track your daily generation limit.
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, language, and locale for compatibility and debugging.
- Subscription Information: Plan type, subscription status, and purchase receipts processed by Apple or Google.
- Crash & Diagnostic Data: Anonymous crash logs and performance data to improve app stability.
📸 Images are never sold or shared. Photos uploaded for AI analysis are used solely to generate your result and are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
3 How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Nailogy app and its AI features.
- To process images through our AI models to generate nail analysis, nail care scans, outfit matching results, and other features.
- To enforce your daily generation limit (20 generations per day) and manage your subscription.
- To respond to support requests sent to anujitha.apps@gmail.com.
- To send important service and account notifications (not promotional unless you opt in).
- To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features using anonymous analytics.
🚫 We do not use your images to train AI models without explicit opt-in consent. We do not sell any personal data to third parties.
4 App Store Compliance
Nailogy complies with all Apple App Store and Google Play privacy requirements:
- Apple App Store (iOS): We adhere to Apple's App Privacy Guidelines, including App Tracking Transparency (ATT). If the app requests tracking permission, you can decline at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- App Store Privacy Nutrition Label: Our App Store listing accurately discloses all data types collected, including photos, identifiers, and usage data.
- Google Play (Android): We comply with Google Play's Data Safety requirements with accurate disclosures in our Play Store listing.
- Camera & Photo Library: We only access your camera or photos when you actively use an AI tool that requires image input. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
- Push Notifications: We only send notifications if you opt in. You can manage or disable them in your device settings at any time.
- Age Rating: Nailogy is rated 4+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.
5 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Apple In-App Purchase / Google Play Billing: Your subscription is processed directly by Apple or Google. We do not store your payment card details.
- AI Processing Infrastructure: Images are sent to our secure AI processing servers for analysis. These servers are bound by strict data processing agreements.
- Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for crash analytics and database. Data is processed according to Google's privacy policies.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
We do not share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms.
6 Data Security & Retention
We protect your data using industry-standard measures:
- All data is transmitted using TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
- Uploaded images are automatically deleted after 24 hours unless saved by you.
- No personal account profiles are stored on our servers.
- You can delete all locally saved nail data and preferences instantly by using the "Reset App" button in the settings screen.
- Subscription billing records are kept for 7 years for legal and tax compliance.
7 Your Rights & Controls
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Reset your data and preference settings at any time from the app's settings menu.
- Correction: Update inaccurate information via your account settings.
- Opt-Out: Opt out of analytics and non-essential tracking at any time.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw Consent: Revoke camera or photo library permission via device Settings at any time.

8 International Data Transfers
Nailogy operates globally. We comply with applicable international data protection laws:
- GDPR (EU/EEA): We comply with GDPR requirements including lawful basis for processing, data subject rights, and breach notification.
- CCPA (California): California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell data).
- PIPEDA (Canada): We comply with Canadian privacy law requirements.
9 Children's Privacy
Nailogy is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under these ages. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at anujitha.apps@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you via in-app notification or email for significant changes. The updated policy will be accessible within the app and on our website.
Continued use of Nailogy after changes constitutes acceptance.
